Mary Poppins Chocolate Ice Cream

Chocolate Ice Cream with a spoonful of (unrefined) sugar! a la Marry Poppoins | Food Your Body Will Thank You ForAs the saying goes, “Mary Poppins…practically perfect in every way.” In my humble opinion, so is this ice cream! Perhaps it’s the delicate flavor balance of chocolate, maple, and almond that make this recipe somewhat magical.

In all my ice cream recipes, I only use whole fat, raw, pastured and/organic ingredients, and natural sweeteners. The “spoonful of sugar” in this recipe is rapadura. Rapadura is unrefined dehydrated cane juice that is minimally processed and retains its trace minerals.
